Welcome to the
third edition of the Port-of-Spain Pathfinder
Band's Website. The Port-of-Spain Pathfinder Band is a marching band and
an orchestra, affiliated with the Pathfinder Club - a youth organization belonging
to the Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are happy that you have
found this site. We hope that browsing this site would be a blessing to
you. As you read all about us, please be aware that we are open to
suggestions on improving our band and our site. Once again we extend a
warm welcome to you.

Vroom, Vroom, Beep! bus pull in de yard
All eyes stop and start steering real hard
Blue and white come flowing out de door
Dress up real sharp all ready for war
With slick black shoes and creaseless pants
A busy-bee look, and
slackness? not a chance.
 Nearly time to go
so weapons come out
some silver, some gold,
some tin, some stout
But all ah'dem cold
so one by one dey tune
Unison is deh motto
cause dey go be flaring real soon.
Marchers line up deh back to de west
Supporters look on in de early morning zest
De band ready and angels can hardly wait
But proceedings are running a couple hours late
Den before yuh know it
De parade done start
with a loud, croaking signal
From in front "Quick March!"  'Oil', 'Saints',
'Pathfinders'
we drumming down de road
Gospel sounding clear in every abode
'Rock my soul' in de tropical sun
Adventist youth working
hard and having fun
Running out ah 'Breath' feeling to just crawl
But showers of blessing bring 'Revival' to all
Pedestrians send deh smiles
to great rhythm and tone
Dey wonder how we continue
soak from fringe to bone
 De sun returns,
Its brilliance shines out
Marchers give thanks
together dey shout
'Ole'! And den dey chip for joy
Baseman going steady
like a true 'West Indian Boy'
De excitement rising
'Higher and Higher'
Reaching de pinnacle
with 'Fire Fire'
Coming to de end
go make another rounds,
musically speaking,
before dey pull in de grounds.
Prayer attention everywhere, thank God for his involvement
Band meets in de hot sun before going for refreshments
Wipe off all de weapons,
don't forget your pants
Pack dem in de transport,
slackness? not a chance
Time flying fast feeling to sleep
jump into de maxi,
Vroom, Vroom, Beep!
